Jon Oppold

Jonathan Oppold is a veteran of the marketing world turned restauranteur who is currently living his dream as the Owner/Operator of Sunny’s Pizzeria in Sioux Falls, SD. Oppold created Sunny’s after a three year run as head of corporate communications at Profile by Sanford and several years experience in Graphic Design, Art Direction, and Marketing Communications. Prior to founding Sunny’s Pizzeria, Oppold founded Homestead Design Company and Fresh Perspective Imagery, two local graphic design and commercial photography companies that he has owned and operated since 2011. Oppold graduated with a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Wayne State College in 2011 and has served on several non-profit boards over his career, including the Orpheum Theatre Board of Directors and the Events Center Design Detail Committee. He and his wife Katy live in central Sioux Falls and are parents to four adopted boys and three wonderful pups.
