We’ll kick things off with a one-hour training session on using AI to build things\, and we’ll provide the AI tools\, workspace\, food\, and snacks. Bring your laptop and charger. The Buildathon is held the day before the AiEdge Summit in Sioux Falls. On October 29\, the top three teams will get to take the stage at the conference and show everyone what they built.\n\n\nParticipation is limited to 50 people. \nSchedule\nWednesday\, October 28 — Buildathon \nLocation: Startup Sioux Falls\, Sioux Falls\, SD\nFood provided \n\n8:00 AM — Check-in and registration opens\n9:00 AM — Kickoff + one-hour AI building tutorial\n10:00 AM — Team formation\, brainstorming\, and building\n7:00 PM — Buildathon Pitch – showcase your solution to the judges!\n\nSpend the day with your team turning an idea into something that works. \nThursday\, October 29 — Showcase\n\nAfternoon — Top 3 teams present on the main AiEdge Summit stage\n\nWhat Are We Building?\nTeams will choose a real-world business problem and build a solution using AI. \nIt could be an app\, prototype\, automation\, tool\, workflow\, or something we haven’t thought of yet. The goal isn’t to build something perfect. The goal is to build something that works. \n\nTeams must have 2–4 people.\nYou can register with friends or teammates. Everyone must register separately.\nIf you register on your own\, we’ll match you with other participants.\nAI should be a meaningful part of your project.\nYour project should address a real-world problem.\nProjects must be ready for judging by 7PM on October 28th.\nThe top three teams will be invited to present at AiEdge Summit on October 29th\nHave fun\, help your teammates\, and build something cool.
