Along with her role at Rehfelds Modern\, Alix strives to uplift the arts community through advocacy & volunteer work. \nABOUT MEL:\nBefore dedicating her efforts to Rose and Eugene Presents\, Mel Cotton played a pivotal\, nearly decade-long role in managing\, marketing\, and purchasing for a distinguished American craft gallery\, collaborating with high-craft artisans from the United States\, Canada\, and Europe. With a background in studio arts and an emphasis in printmaking\, Mel’s academic journey at SDSU laid the foundation for her passion for the arts. Beyond her professional pursuits\, Mel enjoys relaxed moments at home\, snuggling with her husband and furry companions\, and cultivating a domestic jungle.\n—————-\nWe are especially excited to announce a collaboration with Arts South Dakota! This special partnership will enable artists across the state to take part in our Second Tuesday series. Cody’s illustrative style captures the cowboys\, cowgirls\, gunslingers\, and all that is west in vibrant color and high impact illustration. His work has been featured in the Out West Art show\, at the A.R. Mitchell Museum\, the Cheyenne Frontier Days Western Art Show\, and is represented by galleries across the country. Cody has been working as an artist professionally for over ten years and is the board president of the A.R.
