Startup Sioux Falls invites you to a morning of inspiration and connection at our monthly event, Startup Sunrise. Each month, two startup founders or business leaders will briefly share their journey, followed by a facilitated conversation. Startup Sunrise transforms early mornings into a vibrant environment to connect, learn, share ideas, and problem solve with the brightest minds in our community!

THIS MONTH’S TOPIC & SPEAKERS
In September, we’re excited to host Startup Sunrise: Co-Founders, featuring Alana & John Snyder, founders of 605 Magazine, and Alicia Schumacher & Beth Jensen, founders of Bold Identity Studio, with Sadie Swier of SDCEO East serving as emcee.

SCHEDULE
8:00 AM: Coffee – Connect over coffee by The Source.
8:30 AM: Welcome performance by the featured artist.
8:35 AM: Founder Stories – Hear 3-minute presentations from two founders or business leaders, followed by a conversation.
9:15 AM: Event concludes, but FREE coworking begins (8AM – 5PM)

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Alana & John Snyder, 605 Magazine
Alana and John Snyder co-founded the award-winning 605 Magazine—a publication and website that showcases the people and places of South Dakota. After over a decade of storytelling and producing photos and videos, the pair started 605 Creative Co., which is a boutique creative agency. The 605 brand also grew with vacation rentals in Sioux Falls and the Black Hills, The 605 Show podcast, and the 605 Summer Classic—a South Dakota beer and music festival that ran until 2023.

Alicia Schumacher & Beth Jensen, Bold Identity Studio
Alicia Schumacher and Beth Jensen are the co-founders of Bold Identity Studio, where they help women build personal brands rooted in confidence, clarity, and authenticity. Alicia brings nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and leadership, while Beth offers over three decades in journalism and storytelling—including leading the largest newsroom in South Dakota. Together, they empower women to own their message, elevate their voice, and show up boldly in both life and business.
